I say I say I say
YES! YES! YES!
to to to
respect. community. myself.
What do you say YES! to?
Are you tired of hearing the word NO? No running, no talking, no skateboarding, no texting. What if you heard YES! instead?
YES! You have great ideas.
YES! You have a lot of talent.
YES! You can be trusted.
YES! You can be a leader.
YES! You can make your school a safer place.
YES! There are thousands of young people who will join you.
The YES! campaign (Youth Establishing Strength) is a national movement to end bullying led by high school students. Youth Establishing Strength means we are learning how to solve our own problems, value our own strengths, and become the next generation of leaders. It puts youth ideas first, not on the back burner. By believing in each other, we change the focus from what we can’t do to what we can do. We can use peer power instead of peer pressure to make our schools safer.

It's time to start saying YES! to what we can do instead of what we cannot do.
HOW TO GET INVOLVED:
We want to hear from you. Like us on Facebook. Tell us what’s going on in your school. Make your own video and post it to our YouTube channel.
Keep checking out NCCJ’s website to learn what your peers are saying and doing in their communities. Talk to your friends, your teachers, your parents, your youth leaders, and community advocates.
Who are we?
We are NCCJ’s Youth Leaders—a very diverse group of high school students who are leaders in our schools or our communities. We are committed to exploring our own identities and biases, getting to know and celebrate people who are different from us, and developing our leadership skills. We come from all class backgrounds, a mix of religious traditions and family structures, diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds, and different abilities. We identify as straight, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and/or questioning. We have participated in NCCJ Youth Programs such as BRIDGES and ANYTOWN where we worked hard to create inclusive, just, and accepting communities where differences are strengths.
