We Need your help now

The future has never felt so unpredictable

In addition to COVID-19’s deadly impact, the virus has also created so much uncertainty. It’s upended the world as we knew it. And even though our communities are slowly opening up, we know the road ahead will be a difficult one.

For more than 90 years, NCCJ has been there to support you and your community, particularly during difficult times. NCCJ could be counted on to provide education and resources to youth, adults, schools and companies, and help create safe and welcoming environments for everyone. The pandemic may have closed schools, and so many working from home, but the spread of the virus has not stopped the spread of hate. These incidences have been on the increase despite distancing requirement – with some groups actually being blamed for the pandemic. And the horrific events of the past week have actually taken COVID-19 out of headlines – and replaced it with racism.

We can’t wait until the pandemic is over.  NCCJ’s work is needed right now.

Earlier this year, we made the difficult decision to postpone all of our in-person youth and adult programs and postpone both our annual Connecticut and Western Massachusetts Human Relations Award Banquets to ensure the safety of our clients and friends. We are dedicated to finding new ways to serve the communities in which we live, and will be delivering virtual programs – ones that will enable us to reach more people than ever before.

That’s the upside .The downside is that these changes have impacted our small organization in a very big way. Without our regular programs and annual banquets, we are  worried about bringing in the funds needed to keep our organization going.

We need your help right now. If you are able, please provide a special gift today to ensure NCCJ can continue its important work in our communities – during this difficult time and beyond. Every gift, no matter the size, will make a difference. Please donate today.

Thank you. We wish you and your family all the best – and hope they all stay safe and healthy.
