The workshop will be co-facilitated by:

  • Cynthia Martin, NCCJ President & CEO

  • Nyaunu Stevens, NCCJ Director of Programs

They will explore how we arrived at this moment and how racism impacts all of our lives, communities, schools, workplaces, families and country.

The workshop's topics include:

  • The history of racism.
  • How racism impacts everyone, generation after generation.
  • How to talk effectively and compassionately about racism.
  • Real life skills to interrupt all forms of bias and discrimination.
  • Definitions and terms.
  • Ways to take action and build equality in your workplace and community.
