Help NCCJ continue our mission of Social Justice Education in 2021 and beyond!
2020 was an unprecedented year to say the least. We were all anxious, scared, and nervous about the pandemic, the economy, and the political climate in the US. And just when we have wanted to support each other, be together, and hold each other up the most, we are socially distanced and isolated.
Since May 2020, we have watched in shock as racism has become more overt than it has been since the civil rights movement. More Black people have been senselessly murdered, and hatred and violence have run rampant on a national level as white supremacy groups were emboldened, and shockingly their rhetoric went unchecked.
And we know that as a NCCJ supporter, when you saw this, you likely said “ENOUGH” and wondered what you could do to help. Perhaps you made calls or donated to causes. You may have even marched with the thousands upon thousands of people who, even during a pandemic, held peaceful protests for the first time in U.S. history in all 50 states at once! Or you may have felt helpless, wishing, like many of us, that you could do MORE.
You can make even more of a difference RIGHT NOW.
We at NCCJ know that working towards a more inclusive, accepting and equitable world is hard work. But we believe it’s possible and doable. Our work is more important than ever as we believe that through education, through intergroup dialogue, and through relationship building we can see an end to racism, sexism, heterosexism, genderism and trans oppression, classism, sizeism, religious oppression, ageism, and ableism. That is what we do, what we strive for, and what we believe we can move towards. That all people who have been “created equal" can have equality.
In short, to meet the crucial needs in our communities at this critical point in our history, we need your support. NCCJ is dedicated to fighting injustice and will never stop. We will continue to find ways to adapt and be there for our youth and our communities in every way we can. Your support can insure that is possible right now and in the years to come.
By supporting NCCJ now, you can take one more step towards knowing you were part of creating change. Help us stand up to the hate we see every day and help us ensure that our children grow up in a kinder, safer, and more accepting world. Help us teach our children to be resilient. Help us keep pushing towards a world where everyone can be valued for who they are. Please help us make that happen. One day at a time, one person at a time. Please give today.
